Town of Avon Community Picnic Scheduled for
Thursday, September 19th
Event will include free food, beer and live music from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Avon, CO –The Town of Avon is proud to present the second annual Community Picnic on Thursday, September 19th at Harry A. Nottingham Park. The picnic will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with free food and drink provided by the Town on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be limited quantities of burgers, hot dogs and fixings as well as ice-cold beer, non-alcoholic beverages and guests may bring their own beverages. Avon’s events are going plastic-free, and a limited quantity of stainless-steel pints will be available first-come, first served. To enjoy free beer, guests are asked to bring their own reusable cup and 21+ identification.
Live music will be provided by Burnsville Blues Band, Frisco Funk Collective and friends. The picnic is open to well-behaved, leashed pets, and will provide the community with an opportunity to gather and celebrate the fall season.
